Penberthy injectors
do/Will you make penberthy equivalent injectors?
With Emerson officially discontinuing the line of Penberthy injectors, EE has been inundated with inquiries about whether or not we offer Penberthy equivalents. As much as we’d love to be able to step up to fill that void, EE simply does not have the capacity to take on such a monster of a product line. Eccentric Engineer is a one-man operation with two machines, and it is already incredibly difficult to keep up with the demands of the existing product line, let alone Penberthy's. The Penberthy line has an enormous variety of sizes and configurations, and there's no way we can replicate that.
If circumstances change in the future and EE has the bandwidth to make equivalents to Penberthy injectors, they would not be a direct swap internally or externally. Eccentric Engineer is committed to making the best operating and longest lasting injectors that we possibly can, and Penberthy's design simply does not fit the bill to meet those requirements.
That said, at this time, we do not offer equivalent or replacement Penberthy injectors, nor do we have or make replacement nozzles, union nuts, or tail pieces, and at this time we do not offer services to rebuild Penberthy injectors..
So, where should I go?
If you have a Penberthy that needs to be rebuilt, please contact the Strasburg Railroad. They are working on replacement parts for Penberthy injectors and will be happy to discuss your needs.
